ok... averege is the = total sum divided by total number consider in your exam you have 2 papers... in one paper you got 40 out of 50 and in othr paper you got 42 out of 50... then using the concept of avrages can you just tell me what is your average mark?

Rosh007 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
what you think which is more accurate.... first case you added 4 numbers (which makes total number is 4) second case you added 2 numbers (which makes total number 2)

Rosh007 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so that is what your total numbr is.. now what you need to do to find the mean output?

skittles223 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
how do you do that

Rosh007 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
remember mean output is the average output..... you need to find the avrage output of each machine.... you have the total number of bags that each machine process and you know each bages weight..now you need to find the average of each machines output separatly and compare the results to obtain answer..any clue... think twice?:)
