Solve the system y = –x + 6 and y = x – 8 by using graph paper or graphing technology. (1.5 , –6.5) (2 , 2) (10 , 2) (7 , –1)

    Well plot the graph by giving some values for x in the two equations and plot them on the same graph..The intersecting points are the answers...

    you can plot them, and check your answer by solving them. y = –x + 6 y = x – 8 ------------ can you add them to eliminate x, then solve for y?
