If the following object is translated T(-1, 4), where will the translation be located?

    Point M starts at (-2, 1). The translation says, (-1, 4). So it should move "left" (or subtract one from its x value) and "up" (add four to its y value). The diagram with the correct M' point is the right one. M' should be (-2 -1, 1 + 4), or (-3, 5).
