oh actually this problem is much easier since you are given possible solutions lets try them
if \(x=0\) and \(y=0\) then \(C=0\) so that is unlikely to be the largest
if \(x=2,y=3\) you get \[C=7\times 2-3\times 3=14-9=5\]
if \(x=5,y=0\) you get \[C=7\times 5-0=35\]
