What happens when you apply the slope formula to a horizontal line? What happens when you apply it to a vertical line? (Sorry if it's a stupid question, i didn't get the notes yet...)

    Calculating slope of a horizontal line will give you slope=0 Calculating slope of a vertical line will give you some number divided by 0, or undefined
