    2x-2y-5z+2x+2y+3z Since 2x and 2x are like terms, add 2x to 2x to get 4x. 4x-2y-5z+2y+3z Since -2y and 2y are like terms, subtract 2y from -2y to get 0. 4x-5z+3z Since -5z and 3z are like terms, subtract 3z from -5z to get -2z. 4x-2z
