    you'll have to solve a system of two equations with two unknowns: 3a + b = 90 7a = b + 90 do you understand where these equations came from?

    just like solving any system of linear equations, you can do elimination or substitution.... these terms ring a bell?

    maybe if i write the equations this way you'll prolly be able to do elimination: 3a + b = 90 7a - b = 90 add these equations to eliminate the "b" unknown....
