How would Benjamin Franklin's Albany Plan of Union have solved some of the problems leading up to the French and Indian war? The Plan would have united the colonies to better defend against the French. The Plan would have divided trapping territories equally among the Europeans. The Plan would have given the colonies the power to create their own military. The Plan would have allowed Spain to triple its land holdings in the New World.
