Moviegoers of different genres united today in a march of protest against censorship. Local movie theaters have also united in an effort to ban all films with a PG-13 rating or worse from their theaters. This, film fans say, is an unfair restriction on their pastime. "I am a peaceful person. Never been in a fight before in my life. I also happen to like Die Hard," said Gerry Youngman, a 54-year-old moviegoer.
Viola Ence, owner of four BCD theater locations in town, said peaceful film watchers are a myth. "There's a reason they like to spend hours looking at war and fighting. We're trying to divert them to more pleasant films instead. Anything with a gun should be out of our theaters by Tuesday."
