There is a free Dev - C++ compiler very free to download and it works on windows 7 64 bit computers too without any errors. Just go to http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html . There scroll the screen down and under Downloads, select download from Source Forge. Your download will start automatically. Following the installing process, you can start programming in C and C++
