hmm dont' think it's A, D is wrong, C is wrong too i think
so that leaves B
#2: Many factors changed American opinion of the Great War and eventually led to a U.S. declaration of war on Germany. Which of the following was not one of these factors? A. German atrocities against civilians in Belgium B. the use of unrestricted submarine warfare by Germany C. the massacre of thousands of Armenians by the German army D. the deaths of more than a hundred Americans in the sinking of the Lusitania by German U-boats **my answer; C is that right?
kk and #2?
D is definitely wrong as it was the final straw for going to war
B i think ticked many people off (since it interfered with trade)
so B is out
A and C are very similar, so it will depend on whether americans cared about belgians or armenians more
yeahh.. so was it C? :)
my guess...and it sounds very cruel...is that americans liked the belgians over the armenians (or just didn't care about the armenians compared to the belgians) because belgium is in western europe while armenia is in eastern europe/western asia
wow, that does sound cruel!! :O i guessed they were really biased!
well the US has a dark history based on prejudice, racism and xenophobia, so it's not too surprising really
wow.. yeah i guess not!! haha :P
i think belgians were considered more similar to americans than armenians were, so that's probably why they cared about the belgian tragedy than the armenian genocide
yeah i suppose so.. that would make sense... though thats reallyyyyy cruel!!
:) thats the US for yaaa!! haha
