alright, Jim Crow is set of discriminatory laws against african americans in south followed by civil war. Plessy vs ferguson was supreme court case that seek to challenge Jim Crow law but they didn't succeed. Supreme Court upheld Jim Crow : Separate But Equal

Referendum- you can put issue( like gay marriage, abortion ) for vote and let people decide . d. Direct election of senators- people elect senators directly instead of old ways e.
