    so there are 40 students who babysat for at most eleven hours there are 5+10+25+35 = 75 students total

    So now I divide 40 by 75?

    so the percentage who babysat for at most eleven hours is (40/70)*100 = 57.1428% roughly

    oh my bad...i saw the 0 on 40 and thought it was 70, let me fix (40/75)*100 = 53.333%

    75.........100% 40...........x% sox%=(40*100)/75 or (40/75)*100=53.33%
