ColorMe, latest update. I included a color map image that can be clicked and some checkboxes to give control over which position the color is placed. You can still define your own hex values or predetermined color names, you just have to prime them in afterwards with the prime option. Since I use a jpeg to underlay the mapping, it has to be included along with the file in the same directory so I zipped it all together.

\[ \begin{array}l\color{red}{\text{k}}\color{orange}{\text{j}}\color{#E6E600}{\text{k}}\color{green}{\text{j}}\color{blue}{\text{k}}\color{purple}{\text{j}}\color{purple}{\text{k}}\color{red}{\text{j}}\color{orange}{\text{l}}\color{#E6E600}{\text{}}\end{array} \]
i also notice that this file doesnt include the music notations, must of been an older version i played with that had it missing
