Well the volume is just the area of the base times height.

barahaBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
well i dont understand how it would be in square root form?

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
did you find the area of base?
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
hmm no.. the base is like a triangle.. not square.
 one year ago

barahaBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
well how would you find it ? multiplying length and width?
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
hmm no.. area of triangle = 1/2 *base *height,
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yes i think so.. vol of pyramid = 1/3 * area of base * height of pyramid.

barahaBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
so 8 times 4 ? which is 32?
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
i am not sure if 4 is the height as the diagram is very much titlted.

barahaBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
well what would you think it is? because i can always try it and see if its right or wrong. it gives me another chance. but would it be 32 sqrt 3?

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
how you got this answer?
 one year ago

barahaBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
32 from the area and 3 because of 1/3 actually im not sure im really confused
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
hmm no dont think so it should be 32/3 then
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
i think this should e the volume of pyramid.
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
noo.. how you get square root.. i never get square root.. i got 32/3
 one year ago

barahaBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
well the answer format has this dw:1353832060046:dw
 one year ago

nubeerBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
hmm then we made some mistake earlier.. i think probably should be height or the area of base.
