I received a message from somebody telling that students can just learn if you give them a clue, that´s not a complete true, sometimes they need more than a simple clue.......If they who are called "moderators" don´t want me to help......just tell me and I Leave..... THank you

Actually, that's not what your warning said. Your warning was as follows: "RE: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/50b26924e4b09749ccac95c7 It is better to guide the user to an answer rather than doing all the work yourself. We discourage giving out answers without letting the asker at least take some part in the analysis - the aim of this site is to teach. Please refer to our code of conduct at http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct for more information. Thank you." In no way did the moderator imply that you were restricted to giving "clues." He asked you to allow the student to take part in the analysis of the problem without you providing the entire solution upfront.

does a teacher give entire solution in one shot ? mine doesn't.. my teachers (and every teacher should) explain each step, one at a time and make sure students understands all of them.... no offense.

@hartnn @pratu043 @farmdawgnation I agree with all three of you however..on more than one occasion..I have been warned and even banned for an hour doing exactly what you said was okay. On the occasion i was banned for an hour..we didn't even get through the whole question and i left the person hanging so to speak...

Sorry about the delay in responding to this. That's unfortunate. If that happens, we'll look into it for you if you send a calm, collected email about what happened and we can help the moderator who perpetrated such an act make better distinctions in the future if need be. Oftentimes the line comes down to judgement call. If you are correct, then someone made a judgement mistake and I apologize for that. We do our best to prevent that from happening.
