Which is the mean of the data in the table? 4, 2, 3, 4, 5, 3, 1, 4, 1.

    Mean is what we tend to think of as the average. It is the sum of all values divided by the number of values. So, if I have the numbers 4, 5, and 6, their sum is 15 and there are 3 values, so mean is 15/3. which is 5.
