When you add any two lengths, that mus be greater than the third length. If so, it's a triangle. If not, it's not. Try 1. 6, 23, 11 6 + 23 = 29 > 11; true 6 + 11 = 17 > 23; false Not a triangle

2. bloodrain

thats hard :(

3. mathstudent55

In any group of three lengths, add every group of 2 and compare with the third. The sum must be greater than the third number for it to be a traingle.

4. bloodrain

is it the second one?

5. mathstudent55

Try 2. 10, 15, 24 10 + 15 = 25 which is > 24 good 10 + 24 = 34 which is > 15, good 15 + 24 = 39 which is > 10, good All three are tru so 2. is a traingle

6. bloodrain

So, check my answer. Is it the second one?

7. mathstudent55

Look at 3. now: 22, 6, 6 Look at the two 6's. 6 + 6 = 12 which is < 22, so it's not a triangle

8. bloodrain

yea i know SO IS THE SECOND ONE RIGHT CAUSE I THINK IT IS!

9. mathstudent55

yes, look above I already stated it. the second one is, the third one is not

10. bloodrain
