Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2The words themselves help. Phosphorylation is adding a phosphate group to some molecule; oxidative suggests that this occurs only in the presence of oxygen, therefore as a result of aerobic metabolism. So it refers very particularly to creation of ATP from ADP and Pi by ATP Synthase.
