Slope is rise over run. So for each 2 units your y decreases your x increases by 3. |dw:1354593914265:dw| So you're graph passes through the point (3, -2) and (0, 0) \[y=mx=-{2\over 3}x\]\[-2=-{2\over 3}3=-{6\over3}=-2\]
