what forms a food substance into small balls and then where do they go?

    Food that has been shaped into a small ball is called a "bolus." And your tongue is what shapes your food, into a small ball. The second part of the question asks us where the food goes, after that. I think you know the answer to that one. Where does food go, when you swallow it?
