then why do they allow people to cheat on tests? almost all forums are filled with kids posting "help me on this question" but really, all they want is the answer

if you've never cheated, thats really good. i find it pretty unfair to regular high school kids.

People who cheat here or anywhere else online cheat themselves. Yes, they get through high school with less trouble than their honest peers. Then they get to their freshman year of college, which is rough enough with a solid academic background, and they go to pieces. And going to pieces with that much money on the line is very, very bad. That said, the cheating that goes on online is a source of concern to all in the online tutoring community - OpenStudy, Stack Exchange, all the sites. We extend our hearty thanks tutors who provide help without providing direct answers (you know who you are) and to students who use the site to augment rather than replace personal effort in their studies (you also know who you are). :)
