42... because u are using a right triangle in which perfectly understood that has 90deg. angle ,so when the angle of depression is at 48 deg. at the top of the building therefore 90deg48deg is equal to 42.because angle of depression and elevation are the same..

I don't see why the angle would change, the building is vertical and the tree is vertical other words two parallel lines my choice would be 48 degrees, but I have been wrong in the past.dw:1354903197425:dw
