how do i find : what was the average weight of the infant from april to october, rounded to the nearest ounce? there is a graph that shows monthly increases in weight. baby is born at 81/2 lbs and reaches 12 3/4 lbs by oct

    First we have to find out the total amount of weight the baby gained from birth... 12 3/4 - 8 1/2 = total weight gained. now you have to find how many months you are working with... April to October = total months Now for the average, you take the total weight gained and divide it by the total number of months.
