    range = (-9, -5, 1, 5) You get this by plugging each number into the equation in place of X. The resulting set is your range.

    if (-2,0,3,5) is supposed to be a set of numbers, then you should use the brackets { } instead of ( ). { } are used for sets of things. ( ) are used for open intervals, and sometimes other things. Using ( ) is confusing.
