Traveling at r kilometers per hour for t hours, a driver will travel rt kilometers. How far will Danny travel in 10 hours at a speed of 57 kilometers per hour?

    rate of travel is a fraction by definition. r=d/t if you solve for distance, d=rt Now if you have rate and time, all you do is multiply. d=(57km/h)(10h)=570km
