    Use the log rule that if:\[\log_a(b)=c\]then:\[b=a^c\]

    in this case:\[a=3^{\frac{1}{2}}\]\[b=3\]and you need to find c.

    so c is 2? since the 1/2 and the 2 will make it 3^1 which is 3
