Please help: What did Ancient Romans do to conceal the social and political events? I'm thinking that they (1) went through a series of purges to remove enemies, (2) stripped tribunes of their power, (3) created Triumvirates... but I feel I'm not on the right track and I'm missing something. Will someone please help?
