2. luke.a.lie

$\frac{ 3(x-5) }{ 3(x+8) }$ Therefore, (x-5)/(x+8)

help with a couple more? :)

4. xXJoeXx

if i understand your question correctly, all you have to do is factor you can see that 3 goes into 3 and 15 in the numerator and 3 goes into 3 and 24 in the denominator so factor out 3 from both the top and bottom 3(x-5) ----- 3(x+8) cancel out the 3s since they are now being multiplied and you are left with x-5 ----- x+8

5. luke.a.lie

-4x^5 / x^5(1-2x) -4/(1-2x)

7. luke.a.lie

[(x-7)(x+6)]/(x-7) x+6
