Can anyone on help me with this?! Find the lengths of the diagonals of this trapezoid.

    sorry for the slow reply I may follow up with a sketch. But to solve for a diagonal make it a rectangle. Drop a line perpendicular to the x axis from point (b, c) then the length of one side of the rectangle is "a" (from the minus side) plus "b" from the positive side. The other side of the right angle is c. Then just apply the Pythagorean theorem to get the diagonal from (-a, 0) to (b, c). Let me know if you need me to sketch it out.
