some world-class race walkers can walk 9 mile per hour.what is this rate in feet per minute?

    If 1 mph = 88 fpm then multiply 88x9= your answer.

    but one mile equals to 1.61 km

    No, he needs feet per minute. Not kilimeters. Meters and Feet are completely different.
