    do you mean, you want to know if you can add one matrix that is 3x5 in dimensions to another matrix that is 5x9 in dimensions?

    Well it's just a definition of matrix arithmetic that to add two matrices, their dimensions need to be the same.

    If the matrix dimensions are not the same, then you can't add them.
