Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.01. try adding them (this will eliminate the y term) 2. try solving for either x or y and plugging it back into the original equation

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I would cancel out the y term for the first one and solve for x. (You will need to add them to cancel out the y term.) When you add them you end up with: 12x=36. Now just solve for x. You can then take the x value that you came up with and input it in the original equation and solve for y. Make sure to do a check by imputing the x and y values you found into both of the original equations and making sure the answer is equal to the answers of the originals.
