When the cost of a car is multiplied by 0.07 the result is $1740. Find the cost of the car.

    cost*0.07=1740 so cost=1740/0.07

    now we know division is reverse process of multiplication hence to get the cost of car jus t divide the result by the multiplicand hence reqd cost is $1740/(0.07) =
