\[KMnO _{4}+FeSO _{4}+H _{2}SO _{4}-->MnSO _{4}+Fe _{2}(SO _{4})_{3}+K _{2}SO _{4}+H _{2}O\] this one , please help me in balancing
Okay well first you should split the things up and see how many of it you have, for example: K=1 Mn=1 O=12 Fe=1 S=2 (these are the products) and the reactants are: Mn=1 S=5 Fe=2 H=2 O=17.... Can you tell me which one's are already balanced??

well i thought we need to balance ions first , by breaking MnO4 ion and so on
no.. that's not it at all, you're making it more difficult.. The coeffients are the bottom numbers, Here I'll draw it for you hold on
first of all i guess we need to see to which one is reduced and which one is oxidised and so on :(
okay please balance it :)
|dw:1356235962805:dw| Oh you just want me to balance it then get it to you??
yes, please balance it, i tried hard but i couldn't , please help me

lol keep it up
:)
oh my goodness, somebody else may need to help you, I can't figure this out!! This one's a little harder then I though!!
hey what is the oxidation state of Mn in KMnO4? and Fe in Fe(SO4)2
Yeah I didn't get into all tht my teacher just had me balance them not all that jazz
lol without knowing oxidation state you cant balance it, i thought you knew it , its okay i have questions in stochiometry
k, I'll try i'm headed off soon.. Not feeling good and really sleepy
okay, i have lot to ask, not today may be tomorrow :) but i will :) dont worry :D and thanks for help
Wan't much help, if I figure it out I'll let ya know, and may not be on tomorrow-getting ready for christmas cooking and stuff..

no prob, and yeah I don't care. I 'll be on Wednesday hopefully
okay can you help me a basic of stiochiometry nothing numerical just concept a bit please
The concept of stiochemtry..
yes the name why it is so ?
I don't think you can find out why it's called that.. because i'm not sure why it's named that
okay here is the question :D :D A sample of Na2CO3.H2O weighing 0.62 g is added to 100 ml of 0.1 N H2SO4. Will the resulting solution be acidic, basic or neutral ?
stoichio means quantity of substance and metry means measurement but i am unable to correlate these , hope you can but help me with numerical one
Oh my word, You must be doing something different I didn't learn that...
i'm in learning period and you have been through it
I'm not finished! got like 4 weeks left
