I do not understand reduction formulae I understand I have to integrate by parts, but I do not know how you know what to put to make it a reduction formulae for example sometimes you would put In-1 or In-2 i don't understand someone please explain?

    Reduction formulas just reduce the power on something to something smaller so that it's easier to integrate.
