6. In rectangle KLMN, KM = 6x + 16, and LN = 49. Find the value of x.

    According to a vital property, the length of two opposite sides in a rectangle (also a parallelogram!) are equal. So \(6x + 16 = 49\).

    Diagonals of a rectangle are equal.... So, as @ParthKohli said 6x+16=49
