nouns are plural... verbs are always the same. for example: The wolf ran away. (singular: wolf (noun) and ran is the verb) The wolves ran away. (plural: wolves (noun) and ran is the verb) so nouns are plural since verbs are the same in both singular and plural.. Sooo, "What part of speech must a word be if it is plural?" well, it must be a noun. do u understand it? :)
