Which of the following settings are evident in Unit 4's stories of Twain, Jewett, and Chesnutt? Check all that apply. American West Post-Civil War South New England Gold Coast

    I would say Post-Civil War South. I can't say I've read Jewett or Chesnutt, but Twain's setting is heavily pointed toward the South.

    It appears Sarah Orne Jewett and Charles W. Chesnutt also explored social identity in the post-war South. I am positive my prior answer is correct.
