After AP Physics C, you take Modern Physics, right? Can anyone recommend me a good college textbook for Modern Physics? I need the book's name, author, edition.

Sorry but I don't really know what a string theory is. Is modern physics the right subject you should take after AP Physics C? Or is there another subject that you can take?
