    can you tell me how many different terms are there in that expression ?? like ax^3 is one term....bx is one term ....and so on..

    if you get only 1 term ----> monomial. if you get only 2 terms ----> binomial. if you get only 3 terms ----> trinomial. if you get 4 terms or more ----> polynomial.
