You wanna simplify it correct?

yeah

Well lets take look! For a few mins lets ignore that three hanging out there. We will get to that later. So lets just concentrate on the sqrt of 45. What are some factors of 45? 3,15 1,45 5,9 Ok. So whats the easiest to work with? 9,5 seems easy cuz 9 has a sqrt. Whats is 9's sqrt? Its 3. So this is how we can work it. If we prime factorize 45:

|dw:1357161907969:dw| Makes the prime factorize become 3 x 3 x 5

Now, I suppose you know what to do which makes

Now lets go back to the 3 from before. we also have an extra 3 for the sqrt of 45. We multiply both 3's 3 x 3=9 So now the the answer should look like

Make sense? I am a bit rusty on this..
