Agros, from what I see the experiment have been made with quite well, the only spot I would be suspicious about is the conclusions drawn from the experiment. There could be servel factors they may have forgotten, but never the less they have given quite some thinking to the project.
kasim17
  • kasim17
now plz answer ques.
Frostbite
  • Frostbite
I suggest, you make a thinking experiment your self and ask your self the following question? "What variables are affecting IQ for children?"
Frostbite
  • Frostbite
make a long list your self, then try do a match and see if they have checked for the same.

GUYS. This is no sex gender class which you ask , hey! u a girl? whats your fb? got a twitter? lemme have them digits!" What are you doing? Think about it. A person is asking a question they need help on. They aren't looking for someone to tell them how pretty they are. If you are here to help them. Then stay. If not. Leave immediately.

ty frostbite i will work on that

dont u think its wierd if the dont tell u thier gender thoe karatechaopper
karatechopper
  • karatechopper
@kasim17 How does it matter to you what gender the person is? You come on here to learn and study. Not to date or look at people's pics.
kasim17
  • kasim17
i didnt say anything about dating. asking a question is not a crime, especially if its about gender.
karatechopper
  • karatechopper
But doing so in a biology question? Save it for the pm or chats dude.
kasim17
  • kasim17
so u hav to ask privately if somone is a boy or girl, there is something rong with that then. ru a boy or a girl karatechopper

@kasim17 It only seems logical that your motivations, for wanting SO BADLY to know someone's gender, are sexual in nature. In other words, for what other reason would you be interested in knowing this person's gender? And don't tell me "curiosity," because I've seen plain curiosity before. And it has never gone as far as you have taken it. Unless you're a 12 year old kid. I know how curious THEY can be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @Argos The data that you've given us looks pretty well laid out. The very first link that you posted, of the bar graph, shows us that biology has an even greater effect on a person's IQ test scores, than parenting. ~~~~~~~~~~ But here's one thing that's interesting: It seems to me like the scientists are taking IQ test scores, and using those scores to judge how "intelligent" a person is. In truth, we cannot determine how intelligent someone is, just by looking at their IQ test scores. IQ tests cannot truly measure intelligence, just like lie detector tests cannot determine whether or not a person is lying. IQ tests can only INDICATE how intelligent someone might be. There are many, many different KINDS of intelligence. And we can't measure them all, with an IQ test. ~~~~~~~~~~~ So, I really only see a problem with the way that some scientists formed conclusions, using the results of the studies. But the ACTUAL data, as far as I can tell, does seem valid. Many people have tried to dismiss the data, saying that it's racist, because it makes Blacks seem socially and biologically inferior. But the purpose of the entire study was to help us understand how different races were affected by evolution, in different ways. The purpose wasn't to be racist.

@InYourHead I like the fact you use psychoanalysis on him.

@Frostbite Lol not psychoanalysis. Just "logical deduction," aka. common sense.
Frostbite

Logic would consist of 2 premisis from wich you conclude like we science usual say that the method is one and the experiment and outline of results is the other. Without any real 2. premis the mathematical philosophers would actually call it pseudo logic. A better word of use would then be obviously. :) However in normal argumentation we usualy leave out the 2. premis due to the fact it is obvious, or is indirectly presence
