That all depends on your personal taste. For me, it would be hard core rock and heavy metal.

Well I am the same way. I love any music except electronica. Good genres and groups are indie (Two Door Cinema Club, Nickleback, the Format and the Fray), Hardcore/Metal (Misfits, Memphis May Fire, Avenged Sevenfold and Social Distortion), Rock (Snow Patrol, The Script and OK Go).
