Last year, Austin, Texas received 20 inches of rainfall. This year, Austin received 18 inches of rainfall. Find the percent of decrease in the number of inches of rainfall. Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a percent, if necessary.

    |dw:1357674356963:dw| If answer is negative, it's a percent decrease. If answer is positive, it's a percent increase. This year 18 inches is new number. Last year 20 inches is old number. Just use these numbers in the formula and you'll get the answer.
