Which property of rectangles is used to write the equation (x + 7) + (2x – 1) = 90 and solve for x? The opposite sides of a rectangle are parallel. The opposite angles of a rectangle are equal. The adjacent angles of a rectangle are supplementary. The diagonal of a rectangle divides the angle at the vertex into two complementary angles.
