2. anonymous

3. anonymous

4. anonymous

can u work it out and show me please

5. anonymous

you can further simplify -$\sqrt{8}$

6. anonymous

yes

7. anonymous

thank you

8. anonymous

$-\sqrt{8}$ is really -$\sqrt{4x2}$

9. anonymous

the 4 comes out as a 2 because the sq root of 4 is 2. put it out front with the negative sign

10. anonymous

-2$-\sqrt{2}$

11. anonymous

crap

12. anonymous

-2√2

13. anonymous

the -4√7 and -2√7 become -6√7

14. anonymous

2√72 can be 2√(9)(8)

15. anonymous

9 pops out as 3, multiply it with the 2 to get 6√8, this further simplifies too

16. anonymous

6√(4)(2)

17. anonymous

4 pops out as 2, times it by 6 for 12√2

18. anonymous

combine that with our other √2 we first simplified

19. anonymous

10√2 - 6√7 all done

20. anonymous

21. anonymous

yes, you cant simplify any further
