D. Going on hunger strikes to raise awareness about racial injustice. Many civil rights leaders believe in civil disobedience such as MLK or Gandhi, so this would eliminate C because they wouldnt use force. A is eliminated because that wouldnt have no effect. B would be eliminated for the same reason as C would
