In measuring the period of a pendulum's motion with a stopwatch, how could you best minimize the influence of reaction time? Measure the time it takes for one swing of the pendulum's motion. Measure the number of swings in one second and invert that number. Measure the time for 10 swings and then divide by 10. Measure the length of the string and calculate the period.
