"Social science" is a main topic, for a group of different types of sciences, that all deal with people. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Think of "natural science." Natural sciences include biology, chemistry, and physics. They are called "natural sciences," because they embody our knowledge and understanding of nature, and everything that happens in nature. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Social sciences" gather together everything that we know about people, and the ways that people think, and interact. The ways that people physically, and mentally build their lives. Some social sciences include psychology, sociology, political science, and anthropology. And each one of those fields can be broken down even further. But they are all considered social sciences.
